Dear Center Grove Family,


What a joy it is to write this column in the midst of all that God is doing. It has been an amazing month in July. We have heard from several of our missionaries and been inspired. We have seen so far this month, four young people saved and baptized, and as I write this column we are in the midst of Vacation Bible School. We’ve had over 70 children involved in the week and over 120 total participants.
The building committee is working hard to get us ready to start our building project. You will be hearing the status of that very soon, and Lord willing we will start seeing some activity going on before too many more weeks pass. Please keep the building committee in your prayers as they labor during this project. Especially remember Johnny Feher as we elected him to serve as the general contractor. I have no doubt that he will do an excellent job, but we must all do our parts as we go through this journey together.
The time is quickly approaching for our Fall Revival Meetings. Dr. Paul Childers and his wife Brenda will be with us for the week of September 14-17. Beginning on Sunday morning and each night through Wednesday we will have services that prayerfully will turn our hearts and minds more towards the things of Christ. Don’t wait until September to start praying please start praying now that God will do whatever it takes for us to see Him move in mighty ways at His Church here in Center Grove.
I just want to take a moment and thank each one of you for what you mean to our family, to Center Grove Baptist Church, and most importantly to Christ Himself. I pray that we all will be diligent to walk in obedience to Him, and that He might show us great and might things.
